In this art piece made by a family, you can see in the quote that "Like branches on a tree, we all grow in different directions, yet our roots remain as one". And I really like that quote because it demonstrates that we may all be off pace but we all are alike in some sort of way. And there are many forms of family, whether it be friends, 2nd cousins, and our own family. So I believe that if we all have some type of family form, we can all have the happiness we need in our lives.
There are many stories, quotes, sayings about the most important things to hold close to you and in the quote by John Wooden, he states that "The most important thing in the world is family and love." And another quote by Micheal J. Fox quotes that "Familly is not an important thing. It's everything." These two quotes are really similar because it talks about family and how its the most important thing to have. And having children being raised in families can be the most beneficial thing in their lives.
There are many articles about why it takes a village to raise a child, but why would many others agree that it takes a family to raise a child? From the article, "It does not take a village to raise a child. It takes a nurturing family. Period." The author Diane Flynn Keith states that "Parents are the best people for the job of raising children. Parents make good teachers". And most would agree with that statement. Although you learn a lot from the outside would children should also be able to learn life lessons from their parents because when it comes from a parent, little children take it very seriously and apply it to not disappoint.
With the ongoing topic that children should be raised by families, many would agree that in most cases that it leads to children's happiness. In the story "The Happiest Home" Meagan Francis writes that "The family narrative, suggests the research, gives kids a sense of belonging and a feeling of being part of something larger than themselves. And so, a child who has these stories to draw on, again and again, sees himself as part of a strong family unit. Even if times were tough when he was a kid, a child with family mythology will perceive himself as happier and go on to be more resilient and self-reliant". So in my and many other opinions, children should always have happieness in their life, and from the story, it clearly states that children being raised in happy family will end up being happy themselves. So children definitely should be raised in families so they can get their childhood happiness they need.
In the book The BFG it is a story about an orphan girl who gets captured by a giant, but she soon finds that he is a kind and nice giant, unlike the others. And the preview states that "The BFG is no ordinary bone-crunching giant. He is far too nice and jumbly". And later in the book, it talks about how they become great friends almost family like. And I believe that with some type of family figure we can all be happy, adopted or not.
In the song 7 years by Lukas Graham, the song is talking about him growing up. And I think this represents the theme ''it takes a family to raise a child'' because he is demonstrating his family and the advice they gave him. And I think in order to be successful you have to get advice in order to learn and grow into the type of person you want to be when you grow up. (7 Years by Lukas Graham released September 18th, 2015)
