This is me playing a short version of "River flows in you" by Yiruma. I love this song so much because I feel like this song can be happy or sad depending on your mood. Plus it's just very relaxing.
Demi Lovato is an amazing singer and a really good role model. The song 'Stone Cold' is such a powerful song. This song builds up. When I hear Demi Lovato sing this song, I feel like she's so into this song, and it's so powerful, you listen to every word she says.
Usually I don't like music that's not in this generation, but 'Bohemian Rhapsody' is an exception. When I went to the Queen Concert and Bohemian Rhapsody came on, everyone went wild, and it was one of the few songs I knew the lyrics to and could sing along.
Over the summer I got went to a musical called 'Wicked" in London. It was probably the best musical I've ever seen, but mind you I haven't seen very many musicals. The actors were very into character and their voices were amazing!
Dear No One is one of my favourite songs. Tori Kelly is an upcoming singer. Even though, she isn't well known yet, with her amazing voice she could be a world wide name for the music industry.
Ariana Grande is one of my favourite singers. She has an amazing and powerful voice. She is known to be one of the few singers that can hit the high notes and do whistle tones. 'Daydreamin' is one of my favourite songs written and sung by her.
Since a was a kid my dad would always make me listen to his rock old people songs. He loved the bands: Queen, ACDC, The Jam, The English Beat, etc. And he'd always make me listen to them, saying these were the classics. One of my dad's favourite songs is "Thunderstruck" by ACDC, so whenever I hear this song it instantly reminds me of my dad in the car lip syncing to the lyrics and banging his head.
What really got me into piano was probably hearing my nan play piano and sing when i was a kid. I took piano lessons before i heard my nan play, but I wasn't really into it until hearing my nan play it. One of the first songs i remember her playing was 'Bluestone Alley', and I think that's what kind of triggered my love for piano. After that, I started taking piano seriously, going to concert, competitions, and exams.
Yiruma is one of my favourite pianists. He composes very meaningful and delicate pieces. One of my favourite pieces is called "Kiss the rain".
I've always thought about taking my music career to the next level and Juilliard Music School was one of my first options. Even though dance is technically an art, when it comes to dancing you have to be able to dance to the beat of the song and the rhythm. If i decided to go to music school, I'd also take an interest in song writing, and definitely keep playing piano.
