Who is this man? He is Julius Caesar a Roman military and politician in Rome. He was part of the critical role that led to the end of the Roman Republic. Instead of the Republic, there was the Roman Empire that rised up. Caesar was known for his writing skills as an author. He was also known for being a good military leader. Caesar would win many wars against a lot of people. He had 3 wives over his lifetime and only had 3 children. He rulde the Roman Republic from October 49 BC – 15 March 44 BC. Later in his life he ends up getting Assassinated.
Over all Julius Caesar had a huge impact on the Roman Empire and throughout history. He had led many battles and conquered many places. He became Dictator of Rome and led a huge empire that would soon come to an end after his death. The assassination of him left such a mark that they could not reestablish the empire.
Julius Caesar was known as one of the best authors of his time. People in his time would speak highly of him and liked his work. Caesars war commentaries are the only thing that has survived. Julius Caesar also wrote poems and memoirs that have been found years later by us.
