Ignacio loses many wrestling matches, but continues to fight so that he can pay for the orphans to live better. He is able to take a beating and press on, because he is thinking about his goals. He doesn't let defeat break his mindset, or get in the way of his goal. Losing and giving up are different. You can lose and still win later, but if you give up you won't win.
In the tv series Atlanta, Earn, the protagonist is homeless, working at a low income job trying to support a child. Through the course of the series Earn suffered many setbacks, but does not let that stop him from working as hard as he can to support his family.
