This video does an outstanding job of explaining what the electoral college is as well as explaining why we should keep it. I love the points that are made and how he even explains what it is. It is sad though that some people still don't know what it is. The took time to find articles to back up what he says. As well they share the articles on screen with some pictures to cover all kinds of learners.
This video and gentleman Daniel Lowenstein do an excellent job at giving reason to why we should keep the electoral college. Daniel Lowenstein is a leading expert on election law, he has represented members of the House of Representatives in litigation regarding reapportionment and the constitutionality of term limit. He knows what he is talking about and breaks it down in a good amount of detail. This video isn't like other people who just sit down in front of a microphone and a camera then rant on about topics they don't know about. As well it furthers everything pushed on in this "website."
This picture kind of shows that in order to become president you can't just sit in an office and stream to the whole United States, win the popular vote, and be president. It shows that just when you think you have won or are at the end boom something else could pop up. This picture shows someone campaigning needs to get out there and visit some more of the small towns and rural areas. Instead of just laying around and hardly doing anything. Lastly it can be depicted as there are many turns and loops you must get through in order to lead our country.
This article does a really superb job. It shows the pros as well as the cons to this argument. As well for each little argument it explains it, whether it's on the pro or the cons side of the argument. It shows that there are some flaws to the electoral college but nothing is perfect. With saying that though we could use the information from the opposing side to make it more fair and equal.
This article helps explain how the electoral college system is advantageous. As stated it would help avoid run off elections. With our current system we know, with a couple exceptions, that everything gets done in a timely and professional matter. This article also helps five marvelous reason the electoral college has stayed how it is. Lastly they even show the other sides response and then react. Instead of just avoiding what people on the other side of the argument are saying.
