This article shows a different way I can approach discussing my topic. Instead of just talking about the character Elle, we are introduced to one of the villains, Vivian. The actress who portrays her gives us insight into what being in the show is actually like, and how everything works. I like the idea of writing about the villains of the story and not just focusing on Elle. This route would be less predictable and probably very interesting to the reader.
This review hooked me by using very descriptive words when referring to the musical and the characters. The author describes the musical I a very unique way. By describing it as “girly” and “really pink” the author relates it to the original movie and book. The author also does not give a silly label to the musical. By using syntax the author gives a serious tone to the musical but also makes it seem fun and approachable.
This article was very easy to read because of the references to Legally Blonde songs. It made me actually think and hear these songs in my head. Because of this article I might read more articles that discuss whole themes of the musical. This article actually is about a production of Legally Blonde at the Grand Opera House, not on Broadway. I think now I should look into articles about this production off of broadway.
