One of thing's those who know me so well knows I LOVE FOOD! I get hungry ever 5 seconds. I could eat and eat and not gain anything. Everyone that knows me are always shocked when they see me eat a full meal then in a couple seconds start eating something else. One of my favorite places to eat is Famoso, they have the best pizza. When you walk in it smells so good, and you can watch them make your pizza. They also have the best desserts.
The video I attached to this was just a video I found of the Philippines, But the picture is me. The Philippines is where both my parents were born but they came here in the 1990's, I was born here in Canada but I am full Filipino. We occasionally go to the Philippines, Maybe ever 2-4 years we go there for a vacation. Even though I was born in a better more stabled country I wish I grew up there. I love how everyone knows everyone, I love how everyone's always so happy. I especially love the food there and there are so many amazing and breath taking places to go in the Philippines. Every time we go to the Philippines I feel like that's my home. And the best part, THERE IS NO WINTER!! It's like summer everyday. Hopefully this year before I start collage I get to go back.
I love to travel even though I've only been to 3 places outside of Canada. And one of the most memorable experiences I've had was when I went to Belize for a school missions trip. I attended a Christian school before coming to Page. And on my last year at MCS (Millwoods Christian School) I decided to go on the yearly Missions trip. There were many option onto which Country I could go to, but Belize was the one calling out to me. It was only a 10 day trip but we've achieved so many things while being in Belize. Not only did I get a couple days off school, and was without my parents for a while, but had the privilege to meet and interact with the Belizean people. We went to a couple school, we got to interact with kids, repaint their schools, provided them with food and drinks and put on some plays for them. It was very fulfilling seeing the impact my team and I left on the kids. And one little girl that i'll never forget was so attached to me she cried when I left. One day I would love to go back, by myself or even with some friends who went on the trip with me.
Basketball is a big part of my life, I've been playing since I learned how to walk. My dad played basketball when he was around my age and occasionally plays with our church team (Yes our church has a basketball team). I started playing on a basketball team when I was in grade 6, and I've been playing on a team for 6 years. I just stopped this year because my parents wanted me to focus on my last year of high school. But to me, basketball is a way where i can forget about all my problems and stress. I feel so free running up and down the court and when I make a basket I feel like I won a jackpot. Last year I played on the Jr. Women basketball team and won the championship for our division. It was a very exciting moment and I hope to pursue playing basketball in the future.
Ever since I learned how to pick up a pencil I knew I wanted to be some sort of designer. Growing up I would design gowns/ dresses and houses and their interior. Drawing has been a passion of mine for so long, and I've decided to go to Nait before going to the U or A. I've decided to take their Engineering Design course because I want to pursue my dream to be an Engineered designer. I found that this course was the perfect fit for me and I can't wait to start this coming up school year.
I've always wanted to go to the U of A for basketball but also for a design course. After 2 years at Nait I will be going to the U of A for my Bachelors in design to help me in the future to become a qualified Engineer, designing buildings, or even designing the interior. And not only that, hopefully I could make their Varsity team for basketball.
