He gave one of the most influential and famous speeches of all time called the I have a dream speech. Without this speech there might even be segregation today. The words I have a dream still are some of the most important words ever spoken
Dr. King was non violent with his protests. He didn't believe that violence was the answer to anything no matter the cause. If his protests were violent who knows where we would be at as a nation today.
Martin Luther King Jr. knew that it would be dangerous to be do what he does and say the things that nobody else is brave enough to say but he still did because he knew the lives of others were more important then his own. Even tho he didn't know someone would try and kill him he still knew it was always a possibility because there were people out there who were willing to hurt him to prevent him from getting equal rights.
MLK was a great role model for his children and taught them many lessons over the years. Even tho Dr. King was killed while his kids were still young they learned many lessons from him even after he got assassinated. His kids were still able to learn lessons from him after he died.
