The Famous March at Washington D.C

On August 28 1963 over 200,000 people gathered in front of Washington D.C so they could march. They went on a march so that they could get their freedom and so they could get jobs. The march was put in order so that People could see the challenges of the African Americans and the challenges they have to face. They had to face discrimination and so on the power war years that’s when the Washington march met up. Also the march was a success the blacks and whites all enjoyed sharing there speeches.

What happen to Martian Luther king

On April 4 1968 King was fatally shot while he was standing on a balcony. At his wake large riots had swept all the major cities. The person who killed king is named Earl Ray hand he was proven guilty for killing him. Earl Ray was now known as racist and so he had to go to jail for 99 years. So a little while later after Kings death his wife and president Ronald Reagan had signed a bill to make king a holiday in honor of him.

Mr. King also was leading a freedom march but he got arrested for that and then he could not call or see his wife. The running president John F Kennedy help Mr. King and get him out of jail. Two of Martins teachers helped him become a priest and showed him that they could be good people. Mr. King tried to win freedom the way gundi did and he indeed up having good things to him.

About Martian Luther King Jr.

Martin Luther King Jr was born January 15 ,1929 and he also graduated from Morehouse college in 1948. Martin Luther king Jr was a Baptist minister while he was studying technology at the Crozer sedentary. King attended one of Gaudi’s nonviolent struggle for freedom. Gaudi’s teachings had profound Mr. King when he was a young Baptist minister. Mr. King met a woman who one day became his wife in 1953.
