Green, John. An Abundance of Katherines. London: Penguin, 2013. Print. This book is about how a boy name Collin finds out why every girl he has dated dumped him, along this journey of understanding he and his best friend go on a trip. While on this trip he meets a new girl and story starts to unravel there. The reason this book was on my top five list was because it was entertaining the story was sort of relatable to me to keep trying and fail like he did in his relationships. The humor to in this books was very funny and made it more fun to read. Also the outcome of what happen the book was surprising, I did not see it coming, and was the highlight of the story and it made me really happy in the end compared to some of the other books I read before this one.
Stead, Rebecca. When You Reach Me. Vol. 1. Livonia, MI: Transcribed by Seedlings Braille for Children, 2013. Print. This book is about a girl who finds out why there is a crazy, old man that lives underneath a mailbox by her apartment. Along the way, she makes new friends and fixes the relationship with the friend that she lost in the past. While this is happening she helps her mom prepare for a game show that she is going on with the help of her mom's boyfriend. The reason this story is in my top 5 favorite because it sort of random, it wasn't what I expected in this story so it was sort-of a delightful surprises to read for me because of the fun story. I also enjoy the main character she was really relatable on some of her struggles that she has in the book and I kind-of know where she coming from.
Spinelli, Jerry. Eggs. New York: Little, Brown, 2008. Print. This book was about a young boy who moves in with his grandma after his mother dies and ends up becoming friends with a teenage girl and they go on adventures in their town and he helps her out with accepting her crazy mother who tells fortunes. And she helps him out with his grandmother who just wants the best for him. Overall they grow to cherish each other as the mini family they never had. The reason this book is in my top 5 is because it is a simple story it goes into detail, yet not that much and was a easy story to follow. Also the overall story that is told in this book is amazing how they became family with a person who is completely opposite from them in personality was really heart-warming and I love stories that have ends like this and all the stories I read this one is one the top ones that really brought it home in the heart-warming stories.

But, there is this boy, name Quentin, who has a crush on her and seems to be the only one who cares that she left. He ends up on a quest to find where she went with the clues that she left him. With the help of his friends he eagerly sets off to find her. The reason this book is on my top five is because of the adventure in the story there is great writing in telling the story, and what the two did together, his quest and how she dramatically disappears. Also how the story ends up being like clique, but the ending is a plot twists that you see coming yet it still shocks you.

This book is about Mare Barrow who is normal in the world that she lives in. She and the other reds like her are treated as second-class citizens by the silver bloods who are considered royals. Mare eventually finds out that she different, she has powers like the silver bloods. Once the king and queen find out they take her in their hands and force her to act like a silver. All while this happens Mare trying to figure out how to leave and go back home to her family, along the way she finds love and assitence from others. The reason this book in my top five is because of all of the plot twists they made me mad, happy, or sad once I even cried from reading this it was a emotional roller coaster for me. The story development in the book it starts out as your everyday normal book like a clique, but overtime it progress and it become very interesting. Overall it is fun to read the book, it really seem like I was apart of the story, like I was one of the characters.
