For seven years, I was a dancer here. While I don't feel like the experience has done anything for me socially, I feel like it helped to decrease my stage fright as well as serve as a way to use the ridiculous amount of hyperactive energy I had as a child due to my ADHD.
I attended Valley Park up until my freshman year of high school. It was a considerably smaller school than Parkway South, and I feel like it gave me an interesting perspective.
This is the website that me and my family used to adopt our dog, Ellie. She is a black retriever mix, and she means a lot to us. To me, especially, she is very significant, because I've always loved animals, and am considering becoming a veterinarian in the future.
During the summer and fall months, I am a member of the Spirit of 76 marching band. I have been a member since my freshman year, and next year I will be one of the leaders of the trumpet section. I have been playing the trumpet since fifth grade, and it has been a good creative outlet for me, and a way to build confidence and make friends. Being a member of Spirit of 76 has also proved to be a great way to build friendships, and was my lifeline for making friends after I moved after 8th grade. I really enjoy going on trips to competitions and helping out the younger members of the band.
