I did synchronized swimming for 4 years, through grades 2-5. I loved it! Swimming has always been a big part of my life. We trained a lot! What's funny is that I was in the pool for so many hours and yet I still can't do the butterfly without drowning or swim a 50 meter front crawl really well. This was my schedule: Monday 3hrs, Wednesday 2hrs, Friday 3hrs, Saturday 5hrs and Sunday 4hrs. Occasionally I would have Tuesday or Thursday practices for 2-3 hours. The photo above is of my duet partner Sascha and me. When I was little we had a pool in our house an i would swim for hours! I could swim without a life jacket when I was 3.
I am a cheapskate. I will hardly ever spend money on anything besides food. My brother teases me that I'll be a millionaire but I'l be homeless because I refuse to buy a house. People like to make fun of me about this but over the years this have saved a lot of money. Which makes a very big difference when you don't have a job. School is my job, which reminds me, schools should pay students, not the other way around.
When I was 9 I tried snowboarding. I've been skiing since I was 3 and apparently I was famous at our ski hill because when I was little I wouldn't turn at all while going down the hill so I would just zoom right on down. The first time I went snowboarding was at Mont Tremblant and I did 1/2 a flip (by accident) and I landed on my tailbone and it hurts to this day. This happened 3 1/2 years ago.
Ice cream is the best. It is great when it's hot out because it's refreshing but it's also great when it's cold because it is delicious!!! My favourite brand of ice cream is Kawartha Dairy because they make all of their ice cream using fresh milk instead of powder unlike many other companies.
My great-grandfather was born in Switzerland and this is the house that he grew up in. My grandpa, mom, brother, uncle, cousin and grandpa's cousin went to go see it. When my great-grandfather was about 10 he put a very small fish in their well and 3 years later he looked in it and the fish was still there! It was so big that it couldn't even move around in the well anymore. Apparently my great-grandpa wouldn't tell anyone of the younger generations what he did with the fish...
My favourite show!!! I watch it with my older brother even while he's in Canada. We just watch the same episode at the same time. It's just about a bunch of high school students in the '70s on the verge of becoming adults. They really don't like that idea. Y'all should watch it!
This is one of my favourite books cause it's fun to read and when I was about 7 I thought that I was really cool because I could read a "chapter book". The only thing that I don't like about it is that whenever I read it my mom is always telling me that I should be just like the Giving Tree.
There's this cute Indian girl named Stuti and I always go over to her house because she's so cute and fun to play with and her mom makes the greatest homemade Indian food that you will ever taste! Here we are colouring a picture that I believe will one day appear in the Louvre. I mean look at it. Stuti is turning 3 on March 4th! She's weird cause she doesn't like eating cake but she loves cutting it so her mom buys her a cake anyway!
This is my brother, George, my dog Angus and me. This was in the winter of 2014. He died when he was 15 being run over by a car but that was because he was deaf and blind by the end of his life. When Angus was a puppy he was run over by a car and he got a metal rod in one of his legs.
Your're probably thinking I put poutine on this list because I'm Canadian and want to make Canada seem really great but poutine is actually really delicious! It is fries with gravy and cheese curds! If you try it and don't like it, it's because you're at the wrong restaurant!
