The Kimball Family started in 1991 with my marriage to Tim, an ex-teacher, football player, coach, and current LAFD firefighter/paramedic. Tyler, our first born, graduated from Cal Berkeley, is engaged to his girlfriend Kaitlin, and will be starting his Master's program at Long Beach State. My first daughter, Katelyn, just graduated from Cal Lutheran where she also played soccer. She is an EMT and will be starting nursing school soon. My youngest, Kelsey, currently attends UCSD and plays on the soccer team.
I (usually) don't like them!
I grew up in Hacienda Heights, CA, about an hour east from Calabasas. My mom and dad are HUGE Angels fans and have been season ticket holders for over forty years. My sister, Janna, is married, has four children and lives in El Dorado Hills, and my brother, Eric, has two children and lives in Redwood City. I LOVE when the entire family is together; I go crazy (in a good way) when my nieces and nephews are around!
I have been friends with the above ladies for thirty years. I met some of them in my early twenties when I first started dating my husband. We have danced at each others' weddings, giggled with our babies in playgroup, celebrated many birthdays and holidays, supported each other through the good and the bad, and cried with each other over the loss of loved ones. I know, for a fact, that these women will always be there for me.
I "Can't Stop the Feeling" of being so lucky to work with amazing people who have become my close friends. I get to spend five out of seven days (sometimes more) of the week with some of my closest friends!
This is THE BULLDOG... the "original" Bulldog trail race is now in it's 26th year; accept no imitations!! Come run the scenic Santa Monica Mountains Recreation Area beginning at our base camp in...I have officially run the Xterra Bulldog race a few times. This summer, I ran it just for fun...well, some of it!
AEW has been my home away from home for over thirty years. I love the staff I collaborate with, the students I guide, the dress-up days, the energy on the campus and in the classroom, the friends I have made, and even Mr. Bostrom and his boogie jar!
Sometimes gross things tickle my funny bone; I guess that's why I have been in 7th Grade for over thirty years!
I LOVE TO READ, I love to recommend books to others, I have read many of the popular young-adult novels, and I want YOU to enjoy the books YOU read this year.
The best part of summer is getting together with the whole clan. Most summers we rent a giant house on Lake Tahoe. It is so much fun to have all seventeen of us in one house!
