My dad went to the University of Georgia. Later, I graduated from the University of Georgia, married a UGA alumni and guess where my oldest is going to school? That's right, UGA!
My dad was an Air Force Brat and lived around the world as a kid, so even though his family is from Georgia, he hasn't lived in Georgia much because he joined the Air Force not long after marrying my mom and we lived all over the world. By the time I graduated high school I had lived in seven different states and two different countries. Although it was a lot of different schools, it was still a pretty fantastic way to grow up!
My dad lived in England as a kid, and my mom's dad was English, so I grew up with a lot of British culture. When I was in high school we went on a field trip to London for a week and I saw a lot of theater; it totally cemented in me a deep interest in live theater. I am going to apologize in advance because I am a total British culture nerd, and I love musicals. I warn you now, because that will come out in this class.
I am a HUGE Disney fan! I love Disney so much my husband and I got married at Disney World! We have been to Disney many, many times and I even ran my first half marathon at Disney. It's just a magical happy place.
I have four kids: Allie is a freshman at UGA, Lindsay is a freshman here, Audrey is a 4th grader at ULE, and Garrett is a 2nd grader at ULP. My husband teaches literature, newspaper and is an assistant soccer coach. We have a dachsund named Elsa, a black kitten named Kylo and a slew of outside barn cats because I love rescuing cats.
Audrey and Garrett both have Autism. Autism means different things to different people, Audrey loves animals and has a wardrobe filled with animal clothes. If you see her, look to see what animal she has on that day. She is very timid and shy at first, but once she gets used to you, she will love you! She gets really upset when people get hurt, or if people talk about painful things. Garrett is an incredibly affectionate little man. I think all the females at his school know him by name because he loves to give them hugs. He worries about things, and doesn't like uncomfortable clothes. He also really, really likes superhero villains, especially the Joker.
I have always been interested in history, which is why I majored in it! Visiting and traveling to historic sites is something that I love to do!
I absolutely do not care about making a fool of myself to have fun, and you shouldn't either. Embrace who you are and be confident in that. I am a Doctor Who lover, a Harry Potter fangirl, Broadway singing, artist, geek and history nerd. I yell Go Dawgs!, Allonsy and Merlin's Beard (that is a funny story). I think our differences are what makes the world interesting. :)
I love Pop Music, My husband totally teases me about my "horrible" taste in music, but Pop Music just makes me happy. It doesn't have to be moden Pop either, I love it from all decades. So if we listen to music in here, don't expect country or rock. ;) Music video by Spice Girls performing Wannabe.

I love painting and sculpting. Usually, I make a lot of Funko Pop wedding cake toppers, but sometimes I get to make fun things like this one for WWE wrestler Zack Ryder. He is seriously one of the nicest people too!
