One of the most if not the most hyped video of all time with having larger than life celebrities present in the video. Whoppie Goldberg, John Travolta, etc etc the list goes on. The reason i believe that this specific music video should be top 3 in the 80's is because its rare that you can get to see a room full of actors and music composers in a music video for the support of one artist. The video itself wasnt crazy as far as in effects and crazy movement but if you were a living in the 80's and seen this when it first came out i guarantee that you would be overly excited for this patiuclar video. If you are not a Michael Jackson fan i still believe that you will still ove the video becuase it may have your favorite celeb in the building.
I agree with the billboards top 10 more than rankers because it makes more sense that prince has had one of the best videos of his career with "When doves cry" Which was ranked top 10 on ranker.com.
The best music videos and MTV clips from the 1980s, voted on and ranked by the most radical, tubular fans. I personally agree for the most part, the only rank that i disagree with is the rank that Micheal Jackson's Thiller got i think it's the best music video in the 80's and they are missing another Jackson classic that deserved to be in the top 3 spot if not #1 which is "Liberian Girl" who has numerous of big all time stars in the video which is cool being that there were so many inspirations in the video looking for Micheal with celebirties such as , Billy Dee Williams, Don King, John Travolta, and many many more.
