This impacted me because they were this famous couple and they were ruthless C. They are still famous years after their death and have affected the worl today in hollywood and pop culture
A. The 1920s was a new era for women, they changed their style and cut their hair. They started to smoke, drink, and do "unladylike things" B. This impacted me as a person because I think that women wouldn't have their style today if the women of the 1920s hadn't made this advancement C. This connects to today because I believe that women wouldn't have their style that they have today without these advancements
A. The dust bowl was dust storms that ravished the Great Plains and was a decade long drought and killed the agricultural value of the land B. This impacted me because it must have been terrible to have lived in those conditions for 10 years C. I think that this connects to today because the people drained the Earth's reasources and we are doing the same right nowe and not thinking about what has happend in the past

This impacted me because this must have been a terrible time and scary for the people who were affected C. This connects to today because even now we are worried about these kinds for downfalls today

This was also called the Manhattan Project where scientists Albert Einstien and Enrico Fermi, who had escaped Europe and came to live in the United States, worked on developing a bomb just in case the war dragged on for too long B. This impacted me because this was one of the things that started the cold war C. This connects to today because even now we are threated with nuclear war.
A. This movement was lead by Margaret Sanger because she thought that women should enjoy sex without the fear of pregnancy. She opened a clinic in New York but was arrested eleven days later, and this started birth control activism across the United States B. This impacted me because I think that women should have the same risks as men and making things less scary for women C. This was part of the events that started to tell women that they have a voice and if they used it right it would be heard.
A. Jackie Robinson was the first African American baseball player in the major league baseball. He didn't join the Dogers until 1947 but he was quite the controversy people thought he didn't have a place with the white players even though he was just as good B. I think that he had major guts because alot of people thought that he didn't belong there, and he got death threats and was distcrimiated against but still kept playing C. He connects to today because many black player are in the league now and are some of the best players in there
A. Amelia Earhart held many flying records and was the first woman to be awarded a military decoration for “heroism or extraordinary achievement while participating in an aerial flight.” B. This impacted me because she was very strong and was a very cool and head of her time and that takes guts C. This connects to today because many women fly planes on commerical planes and in our military. I believe that if this woman didn't achieve her accomplishments

This woman had an impact on me because I realized that I had never heard of her before and I was baffled by that fact and I realized that more people should know about her C. This person connects to present day because she was the first woman to have a say in congress and now there are many women in our government today and she started it all.
A. This movement was a pivotal part of our history because it made women a force in this country, it showed women and the nation that if they fight hard enough for something they will succeed B. This has impacted me because thanks to them I will be able to vote when I'm 18 and I can have power as a citizen C. These connect to today because it shows women that we shouldn't let our gender prevent us from fighting for what we believe in.
