A. "The Jazz Singer" was the first movie with sound! This was important to people because before, they only had silent movies. B. I watch movies and TV shows a lot so I'm happy that there is sound. C. This connects to present day because people are still entertained by watching movies.

I've been to New York and have seen it and it made me wonder how architects and workers made it all happen.C. The Empire State Building is still standing strong today as well as attracting tourists.

Today, there are multiple locations with theme parks based off of Mickey Mouse and Walt Disney's other famous characters. B. Ever since I was little, my family and I would take a trip to Disney world every year and it is such a happy atmosphere.

His work doesn't impact me no but might impact my future because of some of the programs. C. Some of his programs are still active today like the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation.

We still remember and honor the brave souls that made the ultimate sacrifice. B. This event makes an impact on me because even though I wasn't alive to witness the event, I am thankful to live in a country with a strong military that responds quickly.
A. This made a pretty big impact on America because it gave women the right to vote. Women were protesting for a while to make this happen. B. I'm happy that when I'm older I'll be ale to vote and give my opinion for certain things. C.Today, women are still voting.
A. The establishment of Mother's day impacted America by bringing attention and appreciation to moms. C. Today Mother's day is still celebrated. B. Also, it makes me think about how much my mom does for me and how much she cares. It reminds me to be grateful that my mom is as amazing as she is.
A. Henry Ford created the Model T, a horseless carriage. This changed America's way of transportation greatly because instead of having to take a horse and carriage, people could just drive themselves. C. We still use cars in present day. It's a common way of transportation. B. I also ride in a car at least once a day because it is my main way of transportation.
A. The Wright brothers successfully made the first airplane. This meant that there would be a new option of transportation. B. I appreciate that there are planes because it gets me places faster. C. This is very connected to present day because there are planes flying and taking people and products places everyday.
