I have never been to an actual wedding. I've been to Bosnian weddings, but never anything with an actual ceremony. Ms. Payne/Blaha (after begging many times) invited Keeli and I and even gave us a part in the wedding. I had a great time and I'm glad I got to join her in such a special moment my senior year.
My parents do care about me succeeding, they just never look into my grades or are ever hard on me about it. For the past four year I have chosen to do good for myself... and not just good, but great. My gpa was a 4.0 3.9 until my senior year. That was when I realized times get tough, but you have to work through it. My gpa is a 3.86 now, and most of the B's were because of my college classes, but I'm proud of myself.
I'm not the type to go out and party and I am actually a very shy and awkward person. Last prom was really bad and so I expected this years prom to be bad too. However, it was oppposite of what I expected. Prom was very special especially since I went with my boyfriend of four years. I was able to let loose and have a great time! It was my favorite moment of senior year.
It wasn't until my senior year when I got serious about accounting. I wanted some more experience and knowledge In the area though, and to do that I would need to switch my pathway from child development to business. It was hard because one of the teachers said that I didn't have the prerequisites to switch, but with the help of my guidance counselor I switched. She believed in me enough and switched my pathway and I was completed everything within the year and maintain a good GPA. It was the best decision I made this year.
I have been playing soccer since the 6th grade. This year was the year that it all came to an end. It was bitter sweet and I am soooo very grateful I had the opportunity to play and meet half my friends by playing! I wouldn't be who I am today without soccer! I also was very happy to announce me being captain! Soccer is my passion! #11
