The Problem with Trumpcare, the Health Plan Everybody Hates

There is no other plans that are as efficient as Obamacare. Trump has a plan to repeal Obamacare but there is many significant problems with "TrumpCare." The plan only benefits the rich as many of the taxes would be repealed. Trumpcare is a terrible replacement for the ACA as it doesn't protect the people. The medicaid expansion would be still in use for a very short time. Enrollment would stop in the year 2020 thus blocking grant money which essentially gets rid of Obamacare. Many would lose coverage especially the lower to middle class. The less fortunate really need Obamacare to stay covered but these millions would lose out on coverage if TrumpCare takes over Obamacare.

Obamacare also educates America about health and the system. With the prescriptions being lowered, more of the therapies and medicines will be experimented with. This will allow Americans to find out what works and what doesn't. This is important to educate our system and learn. There is also no lifetime limits for coverage. Before September 23rd, 2010, health plans weren't allowed to pay for insurance when the limit was exceeded. This is a positive change as everyone should be covered no matter the health history. Another reason Obamacare works is that, the care act invests more in primary care. Other big nations have better health outcomes than America. There was a change that was needed to help the American people.

Obamacare covers medications that were previously not covered by insurance companies. This makes the prescriptions much less expensive and realistic to pay for Americans. The insurance companies before the care act was implemented was too much like a business. The companies were just trying to make money even though lives and health are way more important. Jimmy Kimmel brilliantly explains how health shouldn't depend on how much money families have. His son had to undergo multiple surgeries and he praised Obamacare for covering new medications. If it wasn't for the Affordable Care Act, Jimmy's son may not be alive.

The Pros and Cons of Obamacare

The Pros and Cons of Obamacare

The affordable care act lowers the cost of medications that some people cant afford due to the prescriptions' expensive cost. Obamacare really helps senior citizens as many of them don't work to get the finance for the medication since they take the most. Over the years, more prescription drugs are being covered. Before the act, insurance companies didn't support certain medications which made the prices unreasonably high. This should've never been the case as this is about people's health. The well-being of citizens is more important than money or any health care plans. It's as if there must be money payed for people's lives and it's all due to social class to keep loved ones well.

Obamacare offers protection, rights and benefits for the American people. For example, young adults can keep their families health care plan until age 26. This allows for the American youth to get on their feet and to be ready when the time comes to enroll for a plan. The Affordable Care Act also disallows for insurance companies to drop the coverage. Americans don't have to worry to see a doctor as now they are 100% safe and have no worries about the frequency of their visits to medical experts. Another protection is from reasons such as pre-existing conditions and/or gender discrimination to raise coverage rates. This prohibits coverage to decline due to gender or health status. Obamacare also is very flexible and benefits everyone no matter the social class. Anyone in the "Minimum Essential Coverage" can receive an exemption to pay a per month fee on their year-end Federal Income taxes.
