Overpopulation is a much more dangerous issue than it seems. This video talks about how the human species is the most intellectual species and how we have survived the longest. However, we are multiplying faster and faster. The video explains how by 2050 there will be 9 billion people on Earth rather than 7 billion people now. Overpopulation can potentially lead to the extinction of the human species.
This video talks about how overpopulation isn't just the amount of people there are in the world, but it is the amount of people in ratio to the amount of resources available to the people. With the population increasing the amount of resources that are available to our species are decreasing due to the population increasing. In this video it claims that the population could be up to 11 billion by 2050 which is higher than 9 billion that is claimed in the other video. This video also explains how with limited resources the population will begin to die off and so will the human species.
Alexandra Paul in this video explains the growing issue of overpopulation in our world. She explains how the population is increasing yearly by 1%, this might not seem so bad, but she explains how there are already 7 billion people in the universe and 1% of 7 billion is actually a huge number. Alexandra Paul talks about a solution in the video, and that solution is, is that if every person or couple only had one child the population size wouldn't double as much and would slowly start to decrease.
