Google was ordered to pay 22.5 million back in 2011 for tracking safari servers of Apple devices since it gave users no way of opting out of policies that gathered information about them. Ads were targeted on Macs, iPhone, and iPads which all used safari. Google had to disable cookie tracking which they told users would not be place on them due to civil penalty enforced by FTC (Federal Trade Commission). Google unfortunately was not forced to admit wrongdoing. Google allegedly kept the user cookies but claims it is "irrelevant" to any of their needs. Weeks before Trumps election, there have been reports of hate incidents and harassment. Categories consist of Anti-immigrants, Anti-Blacks, Anti-Muslim, Anti-LGBT, Anti-women, and more. White supremacist Trump supporters were the main causes off the 800+ hate, intimidation, and harassment incidences across the nation. Victims of these hate groups consist of students K-12 and college as well. Trump, the sole fundamental of these hate groups claim to not have any idea from which their ideas or actions originate. These studies show how large data can lead to racial bias and how private info can be used against a person by organizations for hire. Problems such a racial bias would be the case once you look up someones name, an ad may pop up about criminal background checks for instance. These ads would be racially targeted to people of the black community. A study of about 120,000 cases of racial bias and criminal background had to be provided for companies and organizations. This man (YMBAPE) opposed anything supreme related and felt that his role in society was to put Bape, a clothing brand above all supreme supporters. He took peoples clothes and went into supreme stores to sabotage the company merchandise and threatened anyone in the streets of New York that he would deal with them for what they wore.
