My favorite quote of this website is, "everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself." by Leo Tolstoy. I like this because it is very true. Everybody tells people they're going to change the world, but don't think about what they are personally doing that's affecting the world. If people tried to personally change for the better, then the world is most likey going to change.

One of my favorite sayings from this site is, "Sometimes, it's not the people who change, it's the mask that falls off." I personally like this quote because it's basically saying that people aren't always real. They can be fake and make you believe something or act a certain way, and then one day they will reveal their true colors, and you'll see they aren't who you thought they were.
In this artwork, how i see people changing is as they are more connected to something, such as the eagles or the ocean, their mind is slowly changing. This could possibly be for the better, because all of the humans in the paintings are looking more at peace or have "become one with the world". And sometimes if the artwork has a powerful meaning behind it, it can change how others view the world around them.
In the poem "I Cannot Change, As Others Do" by Lord John Wilmot, it talks about how he can't change to be somebody he's not, and that he cannot change in the way that other people do. He can only change how he is supposed to, and change in a way that is right for him.
In the novel Gone With the WInd, it has a great example of people, or their opinions, changing. Scarlett used to love Rhett, or thought she did, but before they got married she tells him that she doesn't love him. Her perspective on him changed, and this happens all the time in the real world.
Researchers say that over time, peoples personalities may change, and it's usually a positive thing. In the article, it states, "while personality traits are relatively stable over time, they can and often do gradually change across the life span." If you choose positive people to be around in your life, then you are more likely to be a better person. It doesn't happen all at once, you change over the whole course of your life.
