Meadow View is the school I work at, and it's an amazing place to be! The kids are fantastic and so are all of the staff!

I was born in Colorado, but I lived in Illinois for about 20 years of my life. Here is a video of Chicago's skyline. Chicago isn't the capitol of IL (Springfield is), but it the main city in Illinois. It's a great place to visit if you ever have the chance.
I usually eat sushi at least once a week. In fact, just typing about it now is making me hungry! My favorite type is super white tuna sushi.
I really enjoy hiking, and this hike had an incredible view. The hike is called Devil's Head (I bet some of you have done it), and at the end you climb a fire watch tower and you can see for miles and miles. This video shows the view and points out some of the things you see up there.
This is my family's favorite place to go on vacation! I've been going there since I was six. Over the years I've done many exciting things there like surf, take a helicopter ride, and once I even swam above a shark!
This is a store where I used to live in Illinois. Cookie dough you can eat...can you believe it?!
I LOVE dancing, and I think this dance is one of the coolest I've seen. The room that they're dancing in is actually a box that is spinning, so sometimes they're dancing on the wall or the ceiling. You have to watch it! Other dance shows I like are So You Think You Can Dance and World of Dance.
I took Spanish in high school and in college, but had forgotten a lot of what I learned. I've been doing free lessons using Duolingo lately so that I can hopefully improve my Spanish-speaking abilities. Hablas Espanol?
Okay 5th graders, if you want to get on my good side, then bring me dessert :). Just kidding! Honestly, I do adore desserts, even though I know they're not healthy. I'd say my top three favorites are chocolate chip cookies, coffee ice cream, and cookie dough (more on cookie dough on another post).
This summer I took a trip to the city of Seville (Seville in Spanish is pronounced Sevilla, which sounds like "sev-E-uh"). Sevilla was an amazing town with great people, wonderful food, and beautiful streets and sites to see! I got to see the tomb of Christopher Columbus!!
Vail is another place that I've been visiting since I was little. I like Vail best in the summer when the trees are green and there are beautiful flowers growing!
This is my favorite book by my favorite author. He is Japanese, and he writes books that seem like realistic fiction until suddenly something really weird happens (like a sheep starts talking), and you realize it's more like science fiction.
Okay, don't think I'm too weird, but I think pet rats are adorable! When I was little I was afraid of dogs (actually, I kind of still am), so my pediatrician recommended getting a pet rat. They are smart, clean, cuddly, and very funny. I haven't had a pet rat in about 12 years, but I still think they're great!
I drink WAY too much Starbucks! There's something about starting the day with a warm (or cold) cup from Starbucks that I just can't resist. Maybe one day I'll resist the urge...
