When you are playing first base you get most of the plays. If someone makes it to first then you have to watch the steal. The pitcher might try to pick the runner off and get him out.
When you are pitching you are in control of the game. It's all about when you pitch the ball. But you have to control how you throw the ball and where you throw it. But you don't want to aim the ball or you will panic when you pitch it.
If you make it to first base and it goes into the outfield then you run past third like you are gonna run to second but you run a quarter of the way and stop and look. If it is good then you keep on getting further out and if you think you can make it then you run and just slide to make sure you get safe.
When you are playing second base you have to be concentrating on everything. The most outs are at second base so when someone gets to first they are gonna try to either steal or just get to second. If someone is one on second then you have to watch the steal and cover the bag when the pitcher goes to pitch.
