It all begins here. I believe that everyone has a story worth telling and that every step we take just helps to add up to that story. Everything, even the bad situations, are just steps we take into our own story. That is just one of the lessons I learned from this book, which by the way is really worth reading.
Knowing about Mario Puzo's life is in my opinion as important as reading The Godfather itself. A book is not just what is written in it, but all of the previous steps that led to it, and that have shaped it up in all sort of ways.
I also believe that books are the key to understanding people. Mario Puzo did not leave any detail to randomness. Each author has used their life's specific details to give people the opportunity to understand how they thought. As they say, books are the doors to endless universes.
For me, Youtube does the same thing as books do. It opens you the doors to endless experiences and knowledge. It covers that task of making you develop your own story based on things that you like.
Life experiences are for me, the mere reason we are here. To live them, record them, save them for ourselves, or sharing them with others. Travel gives you this, and photography is for me the best way of keeping them (I am not very good at it though). It all sums up in our lives.
And because I believe everything happens because of a reason, I could not end without leaving some interesting things about the Godfather movie. I think the movies are great because of the main structure and storyline, but also because of all the small things that make it unique.
