Last year during September 2016, I went to CT with my Mosque's Choir. This was the first time going on an airplane without my parents and just friends... I kinda just a little adult-ed. While at CT many memories were made good and bad. From eating an XXL pizza to staying up really late and getting chicken nuggets to exploring down town to friends arguing on the way back to BG. This trip has made friendships stronger while also breaking friendships too. Overall, new memories and friends were made and I can't wait to take more of these great trips in the future! #experiences #CTLit
So.... I think the cat is out of the bag. My future college is WKU! I know, I know this was my LAST choice to go to college, but here I am. WKU will be interesting to say the least.... I can't wait to make new memories and make friendships too! Hopefully, I will study abroad for one of my four years here. I'm most of all excited to start more of my classes for my majors! OOOO, mentioning majors, I'm DOUBLE majoring AND minoring!! Crazy right?? I shall be majoring in Criminology and Political Science and minoring in Legal Studies and Psychology. One very tragic thing that I am not ready for is walking up the hill ;( Well, the Spirit Makes the Master.... WKU 2k17
The picture says it all..... Our president is Donald Trump. LOL sorry I can't believe I'm saying that #NOTMYPREZ. This guy has created so much controversy that it's unhealthy. If I got a dollar for the amount of times that people have told me that I was going to get deported when he went into office I would be a millionaire. Jokes on them though because I am a legal United States citizen (SHOUTOUT to my mom for giving me citizenship)!! Other than that this presidential election has opened my eyes even more to how disgusting and hypocritical people can be. I'm just counting down the days by this thing will finally be out of office.... It will be the best day ever! Until then.., pray for the US and hope the time flies by. #prayersreallyneeded
This year I have had the pleasure to observe Hanna fall in many places. Whether it be at University of Kentucky to the outside parking lot to McOwen's 5th period class. From observing how Hanna did not let her fall downs bring her down she has inspired me to keep getting up even when I fall.... multiple times. This also has reminded me of the time that I "fell" for a guy this year... HAHA lets just end it there. Senior Year has been a year of ups and downs (literally), but at the end it was all worth it. This picture also represent all the times that I have fell this year due to homework, deadlines, and end of friendships. I have "fell" a lot this year but all these experiences have shaped me in various ways. #imadeit
This year the junior and senior class had the privilege of going to D.C. for passing EOC's. This trip was interesting to say the least. The trip started off by being very uncomfortable in the bus seat because I was sitting next to someone and there wasn't enough room...! Other than that I loved our chaperones they gave our bus freedom and let us go walk around and explore what we wanted. The food was great but the memories that made were greater. During this trip I roomed with Justice, Sandra, and Jasmine. The late night prank phone calls were probably one of the most priceless things that happened on that trip. The sites that I saw during this trip were great and I couldn't believe that I actually saw the White House, the Washington Monument and the Lincoln Memorial! Overall this trip was great and I'm happy I got to share great memories with great people!
