Animals will act weird like crickets will start chirping, birds will be silent , spiders will dismantle their webs ,farm animals will lay down , and pets would not be acting weird
This will be the first total solar eclipse in the U.S. in 38 years. The last one occurred February 26, 1979. not many people saw it because it just happened in five states in the Northwest. Before that one, you have to go back to March 7, 1970. Portland has the highest percentage of viewing it with 99%. And if it is cloudy you might not be able to see it you need a clear sky
A total solar eclipse is only visible from a small area on Earth. The sky becomes very dark, as if it were night. For a total eclipse to take place, the sun, moon and Earth must be in a direct line.Never look directly at the Sun, eclipsed or otherwise, without any protective eyewear. The Sun’s UV radiation can burn the retinas in your eyes leading to permanent damage or even blindness.
