This song was played during many outings with my friends. It also represents the times where we would hang out in Evan's basement and watch the show the office. This song is known by heart by all of my friends and we can sing it word for word. It's kind of our anthem.
This is the Marine Corps Hymn. After high school I will be leaving to go to boot camp to become an United States Marine. I have always wanted to join the Marines so when I was finally old enough to enlist, I did. I enlisted at 17 with parental consent. My mom reluctantly signed the papers but knew this is what I wanted to do.
My dad loves this song. Every time we are in the car and it comes on he turns up the radio all the way and sings very loudly. Every time I hear it, it reminds me of all of the car rides or times we were sitting out in the barn and this song would come one. It is also one of the few songs that he dances to so I can't hear it without picturing him doing the same dance moves over and over again.
My grandpa is a big fan of old style country music and during the summer when I was younger I would go to his house and hangout. My grandpa always sat downstairs and listened to his music while drnking a Diet Coke. The music would blare throughout the hose and you could hear it no matter where you were. I never actually went and sat with him but sometimes i would sit on the top stair and listen.
In the second grade my friend Jake introduced me to Star Wars. I have been in love with it ever since and still get really excited about the movies and video games. This is a song from a scene in the original movie. I choose this just to basically represent Star Wars and how much it has impacted my life. With out it i may not even be friends with some of the people I am friends with and I certainly wouldn't have as great of memories.
"Not Afraid" by Eminem was the first rap song I really listened to and I fell in love with it. Not only was it the first rap song I listened to it was the first one I memorized by heart. I would have it on repeat on my little blue iPod shuffle. I still listen to it today.
"Rock Star" by Nickelback is a song that I would always listen to with my mom. She would always play it when we were in the car going somewhere and we would sing the whole song. This song brings back memories of summer days driving to my grandmas with the sunroof open.
This song by Sammy Adams reminds me of my summer and hanging out with my friends. We would often play it in the car on the way out to Oak Run for a day of swimming and fishing. Another time when we would play it would be when we were driving around, usually we were playing Pokemon Go but sometimes we were on the hunt for food.
