I love makeup, but I'm not necessarily good at it. Also, I'm not allowed to actually wear it. It's really weird because I can buy it and I spend tons of time watching tutorials and practicing. But I can never wear it in public.
I love Hip-Hop/rap music. I like it because it's music you can just groove to. Sometimes it's not about meaning, it's just great to have fun. There are artist I love that have a lot of meaning to their raps like Tupac, Ice Cube, Kendrick Lamar, J.Cole, Chance the Rapper and there are some rappers that I like that don't necessarily have a lot of meaning in their music but it's fun to listen and dance to.
I'm one of the goofiest people you will ever meet. I'm always laughing or telling jokes. I tend to laugh the stupidest things. If I don't really know you or I'm just getting comfortable with you, I probably won't joke around or I'll be really quiet, but once I'm comfortable, I'll probably tell you a joke almost every time I see you.
I started watching Grey's Anatomy over the Summer and as the show progressed, I started to realize that maybe I should be in the medical field. I know it's weird that this is how I decided what I wanted to do with my life, but I love Math, Science, and children but I didn't know how to incorporate them all into my life. The medical field is perfect. What I didn't know was what kind of surgeon I wanted to be. Then, Alex Karev brought kids from Africa to help treat them and Meredith and Derek adopted one of them. That was the exact moment I decided I wanted to be a Pediatric surgeon because I wanted to do something to help kids in need and don't have the money to get health care, because I used to be one of those kids.
I LOVE KIDS. I love being around kids, teaching the things, and just generally being around them. I can't wait for the day, when I have a daughter or a son. My little brother is the best. Whenever I'm not at work, I spend time with him and we're so much a like it's scary. He knows all my friends and talk to them on the phone. I teach him things like how to write certain words and we also read a short book almost every night. He just makes me excited to have kids one day.
I love to write, but I don't think writing loves me back. I often have trouble with being creative even though I absolutely love to write. I have several journals full of stories and/ or poems from years past and I kind of get sad because I don't write like that anymore. When it comes to writing in school that's a completely different story, I always get writer block and never know what to write,
I love this show. A lot of people gave up on it because they took too long to reveal who 'A' was, but I think that because they did that, it came the characters a chance to fully develop. For example, I sometimes forget it's just acting, when I'm watching an episode, I tend to look over my shoulder a lot and check my phone when they get texts from 'A'. I mean some people say that's not okay, but I say I'm just really emotionally invested in the show.
I love old R&B music, most of the time that's what I'm listening too. It's what I grew up on and it's just so much better than today's music. I love Xscape, New Edition, Faith Evans, etc. The artist I listen to stem from a variety of years, between the 80's-00's. I don't really have a full explanation, it's just good music.
In elementary school, I had always been the odd one out because I spent most of my time reading. Whenever we would have class trips to library, I would leave with maximum number of books they allowed, Always. I was always asking to go to the library or asking for another book to read. I don't spend as much time reading as I used to because I work a lot but I try to at least twice a week.
I've been orchestra since the 5th grade and I absolutely love it. The only extracurricular activities at school that were available in my hometown were band, choir, art club, or sports. The only sports we had were basketball, football, and cheer leading, so when I got the opportunity to do something different, I took it. I fell in love with playing a string instrument and I don't think I'll ever quit.
