During The American Revolution, women not only fought within the battlefield but also to protect their homes, while their husbands were at war. The main point of this article is to convey a message relating women's work during The American Revolution. It covers different viewpoints of women in this era, showing their standpoint. In my opinion, this source was useful to me as it showed me a more detailed review of what women had thought and how they acted during The American Revolution. This has let me see the major discontent from women during the war of having to protect themselves and being doubted at work that I hadn’t seen before while learning about the war.
The author had talked about if we took a less aggressive approach to the causes within Britain, then we would eventually shift from north to south in Canada. It talks about how America separating from Britain had been a bad idea. Explicitly saying that the US would of became a part of Canada in the long run. In my opinion, I don’t really like this article’s idea. The way he said that we would eventually become Canada is completely false, as we have no way of telling the future.
The effects on the American colonies just to get the Declaration of Independence had been mainly supported by the young and old mens desire for liberty and independence. The photos showcase the important people during The American Revolution and what they did during the time. The song talks about the British breaking into the colonies and trying to take away the American’s liberty. It was written after the Townshend act, which had taxed the colonies. My personal reflection of the song is not my personal favorite. The lyrics were mainly about the american revolution and related to the community so there isn’t much to say about it. I liked the idea of it to give a catalyst to the revolution.
Liberty! Uses primary document sources to express importance of the revolution.. The movie includes “reenactments of the important military engagements.” Reflection: I think this mini tv series would be the best thing to watch to understand each part of the revolution. It gives visuals and allows the viewer to see what happens first hand and especially is brought into the war.
This American Revolution podcast involves different stories and episodes following the timeline of the American Revolution. Including, it’s most recent episode, “Episode 047,” talking about how Gov.
