This quote shows off how I personally feel about death. We need to accept they are gone, and they're never coming back. That does not mean they are completely gone. Remembering them for everything they did and what they affected is what you need to hold close to your heart.
I included this short story from before because I believe this shows all the key phases of someone who has to deal with departed ones.
This is a poem about grief and sorrow after death of family or friends. How the loss of loved ones can act like a separate body. Some things just can't be fully replaced, but something else can take its spot.
There is explicit language in this. I feel these lyrics have show the affects of death on someone. "I know you're somewhere, somewhere I've been trapped in my mind, girl, just holding on I don't wanna pretend we're something, we're nothing I've been stuck thinking 'bout her, I can't hold on I'll be feelin' pain, I'll be feelin' pain just to hold on And I don't feel the same, I'm so numb I'll be feelin' pain, I'll be feelin' pain just to hold on And I don't feel the same, I'm so numb"
The hold on peoples' life after death can be strong. The grasp of love between two individuals can truly show, even after death.
Death is unavoidable and comes sooner than later for everyone. Some people believe they have accomplished all of their goals or just can't deal with it any longer. Death is "the finish button" for anyone done with life.
