People often times thought she took steroids, but really she was against drugs adjust had the amazing talent. Her brother's wife did face jackie in some of the races but she told her interview that they are family and who ever wins, she will still be happy. Jackie happened to get rewarded with the Jesse Owns award both times in 1986 and 1987. Jackie is retired but helps coaches her husbands track team.
During the time jackie was not the only person that could do ever thing. Carl Lewis was also a heptathlon. He was amazing just like jackie. He even face some of the struggles jackie did. Carl grow up in a poor family but came out with his running skills and got paid a lot.
Jackie won the Olympics three time in a row. During this time Jackie got married to her coach Bob. She even had a hamstring pulled but that did not stop her. Also, she found out that she had asthma, it became difficult but she learned how to control it to where it would mess her running performances up. Jackie is now 55 and is living a health live with her husband.
Jackie was one of the greatest woman athletes of all time. Jackie took home three gold Olympic medals, one silver, and two bronze. She was the first woman to score higher then 7,000 points on the heptathlon. Although, during her training jackie had a hamstring pulled and had to sit out for awhile.Still to this day she holds the record for most points.
