This 1 minute commercial done by Wendy’s is a very impactful advertisement campaign done to show both the effects of communism and to show how good democracy really is.It starts out with a violinist and then a speech made by one of the Soviet leaders poking fun at the accent. Then he announces a fashion show where a woman comes out on orders and wears the same clothes. This obviously represents communism at its finest. Then at the end of the commercial it talks about the having a choice to buy wendy’s burgers and praises democracy because communism would not allow you to have the choice to buy one of their burgers.

This photo taken by Anthony L. Hall is displaying the taking down of the Berlin Wall and the reunification of East and West Germany. This photo displays what happened after the collapse of the Soviet Union. The guards above the wall are representing the past being taken down(the wall) by the people who were separated from the friends and families for many years. The people taking down the wall will represent both the relief of reunification, but also the future of democracy and an end to communism. The graffiti on the wall shows how the feeling of being trapped people the people of Berlin and the desperation showed through the years of a want of change.
The article describes the America believing that won they won the Cold War but in actuality they didn’t win.Once Gorbachev signed the soviet Union out of existence There were two different versions on how the war ended the Soviet Side on the U.S side. The U.S acted out in fear instead of through a strategic purpose and the end of the war lead the U.S having lesser ability to affect global dominance .The Russian people felted robbed of a future because of the alcoholism increase from after,Russians fly like they had lost a war.China benefitted through the new fond alliance with the United States
The article written below describes the feelings of the U.S after the Cold War had ended. The article starts with of the end of the cold war could bring a new generation that could combat terrorism and not using chemical weapons that causes threats to our environment, and hopefully can lead to a more peaceful environment. It was huge for the war to end peacefully especially since both sides had huge military powers. He argues Russia had to pull out because of the economic and the politically status of Moscow, they didn’t have the financial resources to support a war. That's the real reason why the Soviet Union pulled out of the Cold War.Also the Bush administration would not take initiative in the Cold War.
