Lynch, the author, is trying to say that Trump's opinion about the press is to "determine" if they are "fake" or not.Lynch is trying to elaborate how Trump is the deciding factor if a publication of the press is true or not.In this political cartoon the people are impersonating as the author to give his own judgement on how Trump can tell the difference if a certain article is forgery or not.Lynch is making this case by making people aware of the fact that if Trump disagrees with some sort of declaration he will not only say it is "fake",but his own supporters will follow that lead and not believe in the declaration he/she has said.
Kelsey Jukam, the author is emphasizing how the freedom of the press is being limited in the Texas state house by suing journalists who are "lying" about publishing stories about public officials. Jukam is saying this to tell the people that if this house bill is passed then our freedom of the press has been restrained and is getting weaker based on the fact that it makes it easier to sue journalists for libel. Jukam is arguing that if the bill is passed it would result in self-censorship, it keeps journalists from reporting on the issue in what would be more important for the public.
The authors,Michael J. Ambromowitz & Arch Puddington are arguing how Trump's attacks on the media has been spreading elsewhere and is limiting that freedom and the democracy behind it.The authors are saying this because they are both activists for human rights and don't want nothing, but to help the people around them have the freedom of the press to be as powerful as possible. The authors make their case by warning people that this sort of attack on the fourth-estate is undermining around the world and if Trump continues to make those types of allegations not only is the freedom of the press in trouble, but other countries might also have an idea on what they should do to limit that freedom.
Lynch, the author, is trying to illustrate that Trump is against on what the Bill of Rights had to say about the freedom of the press and that he’s trying to mock Trump because he is demanding that freedom to be cut out when it is directly given from the Bill of Rights.Lynch is arguing how Trump is against on what the media has to say about him and his interest. It seems evident that Lynch does not appreciate Trump’s allegations towards the press. He believes that what Trump has to say about the media is nonsense and that everything he sees wrong about what the fourth estate has to say is ‘fake news.’
AL Jazeera(TV Crew) were attacked by the police on Ferguson when they were covering an important story about the death of Michael Brown.Bryan Stelter, the journalist, is trying to illustrate how the press doesn't have as much power as they did before because in this case, the TV crew after the first rubber bullet hit their car they were screaming out loud,"We are the Press";"This is the media."He is basically conveying the message that the freedom of the press doesn't have as much potential as it did before.Stelter is trying to make people feel mad and depressed towards the police in Ferguson just ,so they know that their freedom is being limited and is now being attacked.
