I thought this site was interesting because it gives a video about the solar eclipse. But the explanation was given by kids. I liked how it gave basic information from kids like not to look up at the sun and what cause the solar eclipse.
I found this website by looking up "weird things that will happen during a solar eclipse" and one of the weird things was that a corona rainbow, also called a coronae, could occur when the moon almost fully covers the Sun. Then rings of color appear around the Sun and the moon. This website explains why a Coronae occurs.
This website is very intriguing because it lists some weird, random facts. What I thought was interesting was that fireflies would come out, like they normally would at night, and be confused because it's not actually night. I also thought it was interesting that on May 3, 2106, a solar eclipse will be visible in Nebraska (May 3rd is my birthday.)
I like this website because it gives very interesting facts about the solar eclipse. For example, you can see Mercury and the stars during a total solar eclipse. This website also gives the path of a total eclipse.
I like this website because it states that the Chippewa people thought that if you shoot flaming arrows to the sky, it might relight the sun. Another superstition was that fog, dew, or any other precipitation after an eclipse was considered dangerous. On this website, you'll find many cultural reactions to the solar eclipse. You'll also find many effects on human activity.
