He was prime minister for 22 years across our border. Hes the only liberal on this list. He is one of the most prominent liberal prime ministers in Canada's history.
He was an axis supporter in ww2. He was an Imperial Rule Assistance Association supporter. He was tried for war crimes in 1945 and executed in 1948 becuase of them.
He was the Leader of the Germans and a the first and only major supporter of Nazism. He is one of the worst people in history but from his point of view he did everything for the good of his country. He is the example that no one wants to follow.
Franklin D. Roosevelt was the president during world war 2 and about 12 other years but who's to judge we're all power hungry if you really think about it. He was the president and supported the democratic party. He helped us through world war 2.
Peter Fraser was an allie in ww2 which he helped the us in the war. Peter is referred to as the most influential prime minister by many. This person helped shape politics in New Zealand.
John Curtin was part of the allied forces in world war 2. He was a Victorian Socialist which makes him unique to this list. John was one of the most prominent Victorian Socialist of all of Australia.
Sir Winston Churchill helped the U.S. in world war 2. But the real reason I am putting him on this list is because of him abnormal political views in the 1940s. He was a conservative which makes him different from all of the others on this list. Winston Churchill was part of a party that many people liked but so many others disliked. He is the one that really got the conservative ball rolling because of his victory in world war 2.
One impact he had was he helped the allies win in world war 1. But the reason he is important to my list is because he was a major political figure in France and supported radicalism in France. How he impacts me is he supports an idea that not many people think about as an actual political part today. He connects to present day by being the first one to really in France for the radical party so he is kind of like the father of radicalism in all country's.
Benito Mussolini was a fascist party supporter and was an axis supporter, but really Italy was just a burden to japan and Germany so ill let him off a little easier than Hitler or Tojo but he still supported there ideas so hes still not any better as a person to society. Benito was the first fascist supporter in Italy and he became a dictator right before ww 2. He created a party just so he could rule Italy with an iron fist which i don't support what so ever although it was smart. Benito was the first fascist which fascism still exists so that's how he had an impact.
Joseph Stalin was a Dictator in world war 2 and he helped the allies win the war. Joseph Stalin was a communist which on paper isn't such a bad thing but we all know how every single communist society has ended... with a poof. Well except for China, North Korea, Laos, Cuba, and Vietnam. He followed Stalinism which is really just "Hey I make the rules." He is the one who pushed Cuba towards communism so that a pretty big deal right?
