You see this guy? He very well knows that humans were not meant to be hurtling towards the ground at atmospheric height. He doesn't care. He is performing the art of living in the moment. Spooky
This is the first of two different opening theme songs for the anime show Dragon Ball Super. This song conveys the message of just going for whatever you're after and frankly, not giving a crap about limits or restrictions.
Robert Frost, the writer of many other great poems, including, "Nothing Gold Can Stay," has also written the poem, "Carpe Diem." This is otherwise known as, "seize the day," or "pluck the day." However you see it, it means making the most of the time that you have.
"The ability to be in the present moment is a major component of mental wellness." - Abraham Maslow. This speaks volumes about this theme. Like Angus, if you keep worrying about the future, you will drag yourself down and ruin the present for yorself.
Again, another song, because I think that these convey the message well. The opening theme song to the anime, "Dragon Ball Z Kai," talks about chasing your goals no matter what, and overcoming fears. Angus has to do the same thing, face his fears and go to the dance.
“Let’s Just Live” is the opening theme for Volume 4 of the animesque web series RWBY. I feel that this song says a lot about living in the moment. It relates to the short story, "A Brief Moment in the Life of Angus Bethune," as that story's theme seems to be about living in the moment.
