As the twin's mother had past away, she left trouble and complication for the twins to solve. Including the knowledge from the twin's perspective, they feel their mother's death was not as it seem to be. The homicide or suicide left the twins in an illusion of which on is true.
As they twins are observing their situations, Jude prevents Noah from coming out of his comfort circle. Noah may be 30% of being someone society wants him to be, but he is completely 70% lost of who he really is.
