This is the immigration act of 1924. This act was a new federal law created by th United States saying that we will only allow 2% of immigrants into the United States during that time period. This affected the United States because a significant amount of immagrant were not allowed to get into the United States and I think that benefited us. This affected me because i thought it was a good idea that they wouldn’t allow too many people into the United States because it could’ve been a hot mess.
