OPENING SHOT
Golf Channel's Ryan Lavner argues that 10 of the top 14 golfers in the OWGR showing up for the two-man team competition Zurich Classic is an endorsement of both the fact that PGA Tour pros love non-traditional events and they want more of them. Whether you agree with the latter point, and acknowledging that sponsor and Tour obligations may compel players to tee it up, the embrace of the competition is something of a (pleasant) surprise.
