After nearly 40 years in comedy, George Lopez reflects on jokes in the time of President Trump and how that will factor into the comedian's new HBO special. George Lopez goes against building the wall and dissed Mr. Trump and his idea's. He states we would pay undocumented workers to build the wall if he has to build a wall. "Trump had agreed to support the Obama-era Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program in exchange for some border security — excluding funding the wall. But the prototypes have already been funded by Congress". Congress Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer said .
The GOP presidential candidate tells The Post that he can do it. Experts say that’s highly unlikely. First, we have to take down some of our fencing in place. Which already cost us 7 billion dollars. Second, their are rivers, cayons, rugged Arizona mountains, etc. These would make it even more difficult to build the wall and even costing more money. If Donald Trump builds a wall on the border, it will go through the rivers messing up the ecosystem aroung the area. Bingel — who was involved in border fence-building during the George W. Bush administration and is now a partner at Command Consulting Group in Washington — added: “Every wall can be circumvented. People can go under it, they can go over it. . . . No one should go into this with the idea that if you just build the right kind of wall, no one will get through.’’ There are many ways to get around walls and it won't be easy to build one
Donald Trump has set his plan for a US-Mexico border wall in motion. But who will end up paying for it? Mexico has already denied spending any amount of money to build the Wall. But who will. Mr. Trump said the estimated amount is 10-12 billion U.S dollars, but Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnel said the estimate is more around 12-15 billion. Right now their is 650 miles of fencing already in place, but Trump's wall is going to cover 1000 miles. "Adding even more to the expense, the new 1,000 miles would crisscross private land, which would have to be purchased, perhaps by legal force, or financial settlements made with owners". A study by the Washington Post said the fence would cost more like 25 billion. Don't forget, the U.S is in debt by the trillions.
“A lot of things have to happen now - testing, evaluation, estimates, appropriation. We will do it all as quickly and safely as we can to give as much security to the homelands as we can.” said Customs and Border Protection Acting Commissioner Ron Vitiello. Trump has his Wall protypes up and ready for inspection. Their are different styles of the wall (as seen above in the picture). Trump is doing this so they can see how the wall will look like in the desert terrain and as safely as possible."Four of the new prototypes are made with concrete, a new material for the Border Patrol. Four others are made with metal, concrete and other materials. All of them there 30 feet high and six-feet deep to prevent burrowing."
A USA TODAY NETWORK special report examines the impact of Trump’s proposed U.S.-Mexico border wall, exploring every foot of the 2,000-mile boundary. While examining the border, they notice the terrain is very hard to build.
"The goal of America's border wall is to keep people and contraband from illegally coming in to the United States, not to prevent Americans from escaping." Also, the American wall isn't to keep people from leaving our country like the Berlin Wall, it's to keep illegal imergrients and armed Drug Cartels out of our country.
