The City of Winnipeg is building a $2.6-million wall alongside a parking lot it leases to a South River Heights retail complex to protect it from traffic on Waverley Street.
Tsawwassen Mills, marked it’s one year anniversary with complimentary cupcakes, balloons, fun family activities and even gift cards for celebrants sharing the same birthday. The 1.2 million square foot shopping centre is fully-enclosed and features five distinct shopping neighbourhoods – Fashion, Outdoor Life, Coast Salish, City, and Nature. Tsawwassen Mills features 180 brands, more than half of which are outlet stores, and includes 18 first-to-market retailers. The centre also features a 1,100-seat food hall, several restaurants, a children’s play area, sports dome and six public entrances, each with its own special design features. Additionally, several stores offer unique entertainment options, including a skate park in West 49 and a themed bowling alley in Bass Pro Shops.
CF Richmond Centre has been awarded the Boma Best Platinum designation under V3.0. This is the first CF retail property in addition to the first shopping centre in British Columbia to receive the award. The team worked to reduce energy consumption, increase waste diversion from landfills, decrease water consumption and more around the property to achieve the top certification with BOMA Canada.
