Lately there’s been a buzz in social media about “microaggressions” that occur on college and university campuses. The author contends that microagressions reduce productivity in the workplace because workers who are the targets of these agressions don't feel safe.
This shows all the ways that microagressions show up. Again, a lot of these comments seem well meaning or just a person being curious. However, the underlying message of a microagression is for the aggressor to have power over the other person.
