This video helped me understand more about the water cycle. What I understood is about Runoff. Runoff is the water that is left over from watering your grass. The runoff gathers bacteria from the grass and brings it into the water. The water that companies are taking to use for bottled drinking water. This shows that we should be more careful about watering our grass and where the runoff goes.
The Flint Michigan Crisis is about how the state changing there water source due to having to pay 100 dollars a day. They didn't realized that the water in the Flint River had lead and other toxins in it. The water started to look, smell and taste funny. This resulted in lots of lawsuits being put up, and 15 people dying from the Lake Huron to the Flint River water change. A connection that I made is runoff and the water from the Flint river, both have bacteria and other toxins in it. The crisis could have been prevented by researching the Flint River water more to see if there was anything bad in it, and if there was, which there is. Clean it.
What helped me understand the water cycle is this. This helped me understand the water cycle by teaching me more about evaporation. Evaporation is when a liquid changes into a gas. It can also change into vapor.
