Kroger is raising the age limit when buying a gun since there are way too many school shootings happening. They are doing this to be respectful because of all the tragic events that have happened. The last school shooting in Florida was the last straw for them because no one is doing anything to help this situation. They say that this is common sense so that's why they are stopping the sell of assault style fire arm.
This father gave his nine year old daughter a gun that she can barely hold and doesn't know what will happen if she messes around with it. This is how most Americans think about guns because they think Congress is taking away their second amendment right. Americans now a days now get offended because people who are against guns are trying to ban some guns and raise the age limit on purchasing any gun.
Trump not only ignored on addressing the age limit on gun purchases but he managed to say that it would be way better if teachers and other personals carry under cover weapons. This would not help at all because teachers deal with so much bullshit from students so someone could get triggered and just take out the gun. Trump also stated that if a teacher had a gun, he wouldn't have killed anyone because an adult would have shot him before he'd done any damage.
After every mass school shooting people always want to change something to secure their children but the problem they have is that they're mainly focusing on the fresh wound rather than looking back at the other incidents and seeing what they all have in common.Raising the age limit on AR-15 won't do much of a change for many reasons. Teenagers will find loopholes to buy any gun, for example gun show don't do background checks, which means anyone can buy a gun. The wrong weapon is being addressed here because people who are in the ages 18-21 usually lean towards a hand gun rather than an AR-15.
