Week in Justice 24 June 2018

The main justice news this week was the Select Justice Committee publishing its damning report of the new probation system known as Transforming Rehabilitation. The Committee asked the MoJ to conduct an urgent review of alternative probation models.

In other news, the MoJ managed to get the new Bill to outlaw "upskirting" back on track, and there was a very critical report of HMP Woodhill where levels of self-harm and violence are still too high despite the very high number of suicides at that institution over recent years.
