Dialogue and dinosaurs: A critical analysis of Jurassic Park

The article is written in several small paragraphs and each was tied off at the end and leaving room to tie in with the other article. This article is an analysis on a scene in the original ‘Jurassic Park’. The scene is when the veteran hunter, Robert Muldoon, is outermost hunted and killed by raptors. In this scene Muldoon only says “clever girl” as the raptors trap him. Muldoon does not scream or yell he simply accepts defeat and along with inevitable death. This is very admirable trait that people need because people need to know when they have lost and people need to be more like Muldoon by being respectful. This scene also shows how humans may one day create something that does out do them.

It's Called 'De-Extinction' — It's Like 'Jurassic Park,' Except It's Real

I chose this article because it directly mentions cloning and the idea of bringing back extinct creatures. The article was written in 2013; therefore, the possibilities of cloning has dramatically changed with new technology and the article will not be necessarily as acurate. The article calls it “de-extinctions” and mentions the bucardo, which was extinct but successful cloned in 2003. The clone only lived for 10 minutes and had severe birth defects. In this article they believe that cloning dinosaurs is impossible but scientist do believe with the right circumstances they may be able to bring back a dinosaurs; however, the stars have not aligned just yet. This relates directly to jurrasic Park and my essay with the idea of cloning dinosaurs.
