Wolves have very dense and fluffy winter fur. The longest hairs are on the back of there necks. There coast changes from white to blond, cream, ochre, brown and black. As it states in the article "Wolves coat color ranges from almost pure white through various shades of blond, cream, and ochre to grays, browns, and blacks, with variation in fur color tending to increase in higher latitude". There fur most of the time is gray.
