Perspective: We hear a lot about the “women’s vote” these days, although most young people take universal suffrage for granted and the fight for women’s right to vote is usually given scant attention. According to the picture this map is showing the population of women that were not able to vote and were going through suffrage.
The women's suffrage movement lasted at least 70 years, from the first formal women's convention in 1848 in Seneca Falls, New York to the passage of the 19th amendment. Women should be able to vote because they pay taxes and obey the laws. Women were prisoners for some men held in a building and if the women didn't eat they had to get forced. Force feeding is when men put tubs up there noes to feed them which was very uncomfortable.
