Girls are constantly told that we cannot do, and no that is not for girls, but they should be given the right, they have the right, to be and do what they want. We, today, associate being a girl with having something wrong with you. Being a girl is no weak. it is not having something wrong with you, it is being brave and doing the best you can, if you are doing it like a girl, you are doing it right.
Do we limit girls and tell them what they should or shouldn’t be? Do we box them into expected roles? The answer is yes. We as society construct social norms that we expect all girls to fit into and not give them a say in their lives. We deem what is appropriate for a girl to do, Girls should have that opportunity to do as they please and not apologize for it, to be themselves no matter what that is, and be given the chance to discover it.
